FCC Resumes Operation; Suspends Deadlines Until Further Notice
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) reopened on Thursday, October 17, 2013, following the end of the government shutdown. As of this afternoon, all FCC websites appear to be operational.
The Commission has suspended, until further notice, all filing deadlines that occurred during the shutdown and through October 21, 2013.
We will provide additional information about the resumption of services, including information about deadlines for rulemaking proceedings, quarterly Children’s Television Programming Reports and the pending deadline for Biennial Ownership Reports, as it becomes available.
