Caleb Burns Weighs in on New York State Political Spending Rule
Caleb P. Burns, a partner in Wiley Rein’s Election Law & Government Ethics Practice, was quoted in an article published August 23 on FoxNews.com about a New York State Board of Elections regulation and its effect on free speech. According to the article, the regulation would mandate that individuals and groups spending money on elections register as political committees and submit financial spending reports.
