John Howell Featured in Plus Journal Q&A

PLUS Journal
June 10, 2015

John E. Howell, an attorney in Wiley Rein’s Insurance Practice, was the subject of a profile in the June issue of Professional Liability Underwriting Society’s PLUS Journal.

Mr. Howell, who is the chair of the Future PLUS Committee, discussed how he came to practice in the field of professional liability, his involvement with PLUS, and advice for new entrants to the field. He was also asked about key issues affecting the professional liability insurance industry in the coming years.

“Barring another credit crisis-type event, I think competition and new capacity in the marketplace will continue to drive the conversation on traditional D&O lines, as well as in emerging areas like cyber liability and transactional risk,” Mr. Howell said.
