Peter D. Shields, Wiley Rein’s Managing Partner and Chair of the Board of Directors for N Street Village, attended the Village’s groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 31, along with District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser, and members of the media, donors, and community leaders. The event concluded the “Keeping Our Promise” capital campaign for the nationally recognized nonprofit, which empowers homeless and low-income women in Washington, DC. The campaign raised $9 million to update aging buildings and expand lifesaving programs. The ceremony was covered by Bisnow, which featured photos of Mr. Shields and other attendees. To read the article, click here.
