Highly Favorable Decision Won in Social Security Disability Appeal

February 22, 2012

Wiley Rein attorney Ari Meltzer recently won a highly favorable decision for a pro bono client on a Social Security disability appeal.  Mr. Meltzer began work on this matter in October 2010, compiling extensive medical evidence and drafting a detailed brief on the disability issue, as well as numerous other pleadings and filings.  He also appeared at two hearings before the Social Security Administration administrative law judge. The judge issued a fully favorable decision, granting Mr. Meltzer’s client disability benefits dating back to May 2009.
