Wiley Rein’s “Elite” International Trade Team Wins Law360’s “Practice Group of the Year” Award for Fourth Straight Year

January 2, 2014

Wiley Rein’s prominent International Trade Practice has been named among the best in the nation by Law360 for the fourth consecutive year.  The publication’s “Practice Group of the Year” recognition is given to “firms that excelled at getting the job done for clients in litigation and deals in 2013.”

Law360 reported that the firm’s International Trade Team, chaired by Alan H. Price, is among just 10 “elite” groups across all practice areas that have won the Law360 honor in each of the four years since the awards began.  Wiley Rein is also the only firm representing petitioners and domestic industries in trade cases that was recognized for four years in a row.

“We’re very pleased to have been selected once again by Law360 for this honor,” said Mr. Price.  “We appreciate the opportunity to work with our clients on some of the most pressing trade issues impacting American businesses today.”

Wiley Rein was among five law firms selected in the International Trade category by a panel of Law360 editors who received 675 submissions across 27 practice areas from around the nation.  Winners were selected based on the significance of the litigation wins or deals the group worked on, the size and complexity of those matters, and the number of significant, large, or complex deals handled or lawsuits won in the past year.  Profiles of the winning groups will appear in Law360 beginning January 3.
