Law360 Names Wiley Partners Stephanie Bell and Tara Ward as ‘Rising Stars’

Washington, DC – Wiley partners Stephanie M. Bell and Tara L. Ward have been named to Law360’s prestigious list of 2021 “Rising Stars.” Ms. Bell was recognized in the International Trade category, while Ms. Ward was recognized in Government Contracts.

Each year, the publication honors individuals under 40 from around the country whose “legal accomplishments transcend their age.” In announcing the 2021 list, Law360 said winners were selected based on their outstanding “career accomplishments in their respective disciplines.”

A team of Law360 editors carefully reviewed more than 1,400 submissions before selecting the final list of 181 honorees from more than 80 law firms and spanning 38 practice areas. Law360 will publish feature profiles on Ms. Bell and Ms. Ward in the coming weeks, detailing their respective accomplishments.

Ms. Bell represents clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. She has worked on numerous matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Her work involves a broad range of industries, including steel products, diamond sawblades, stainless steel flanges, phosphor copper, hardwood plywood, and wood flooring. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Customs and International Trade Bar Association, and previously served as Vice-Chair of Programs for the ABA Section of International Law’s International Trade Committee.

Ms. Ward counsels and represents government contractors and subcontractors through all aspects of federal, state, and local procurements, including solicitation review, teaming agreements and other strategic alliances, bid protests, contract claims and disputes, commercial item contracting, emerging technologies and nontraditional contracting, construction, and cost allowability and compliance issues. She is an Adjunct Professor of Government Contracts at the George Washington University Law School and, as an active member in the American Bar Association’s Section of Public Contract Law, serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Public Contract Law Journal, the preeminent journal of scholarship in the field.
