Corporate Special Counsel
- Experienced transactional attorney for our Washington, DC office to join our highly regarded Corporate practice
- Qualified candidates will have at least six years’ experience handling corporate legal matters including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, corporate governance matters, and other business transactions
- Dynamic but small practice offers ability to gain significant responsibility in a collaborative team environment

Government Contracts Associate
- Mid-level associate for our Washington, DC office
- At least 3-6 years of experience
- Court of Federal Claims; Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals; or Civilian Board of Contract Appeals clerkship or relevant firm experience preferred

Insurance Special Counsel
- Seeking an experienced attorney for our Washington, DC office to support our expanding practice, combining expertise in professional liability litigation and transactional liability.
- Qualified candidates will have at least 6 years of experience in both litigation (including depositions, motions practice, trial work, and litigation strategy) and corporate legal matters (including mergers & acquisitions, corporate structuring, finance, accounting, governance, and other business transactions).
- Ability to analyze complex legal and factual issues impacting both insurance-related matters and corporate transactions with a focus on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating legal exposures.
- Conduct legal research on complex insurance and corporate topics, draft memoranda to counsel clients on claims, bad faith issues, and transactional legal risks (including tax issues, price adjustment mechanisms, litigation risks, and damages assessment)
- Ability to analyze corporate transaction documentation and due diligence materials to identify legal risks, potential breaches of representations and warranties, and other exposures related to both corporate transactions and insurance claims.
- Strong case management, litigation, and brief writing skills with the ability to handle high-value, complex cases independently.
- Specific knowledge of insurance-related legal risks and transactional legal exposures is a plus.

International Trade Analyst
- International Trade Analyst for our Washington, DC office
- At least 2 years of regulatory experience with antidumping and/or countervailing duty proceedings
- Law or consulting firm experience a plus
- Preferred candidates will have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with organization and efficiency.

Regulatory Chemist
- Seeking a motivated applicant who is able to utilize their strong chemistry background to analyze and interpret complex chemical and pesticide regulations and support a legal team in cases related to notifications, reporting, registration, testing, risk evaluations and risk management.
- Review and identify chemical substances, evaluate scientific data, prepare notifications and expert reports, and provide technical and regulatory feedback to build strong case strategies.
- Understanding of and ability to use CAS and IUPAC nomenclature, EPA databases such as ChemView, SRS, TSCA Inventory, NPIRS, EPISuite, and ChemSteer, and use PubMed, ECHA REACH, and other databases to locate and evaluate relevant peer reviewed literature and unpublished health and safety studies.
- Ability to objectively analyze large amounts of information, assess deficiencies and information gaps, determine factors are relevant, and propose correct chemical determinations and regulatory solutions.
- The idea candidate is able to quickly and accurately present relevant data, both in writing and orally, and explain technical information to non-scientists in a way that is readily understandable.
- A Ph.D. in organic or inorganic chemistry is required. Prior and productive working relationships with federal EPA chemical and pesticide offices and personnel are required.
- The base salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000 to $180,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
