Katy Ross Discusses FAA’s August Deadline for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Rule
Katy M. Ross, an associate in Wiley Rein’s Communications Practice, was quoted in a Law360 article published yesterday about a report by the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) inspector general which said the agency will probably not issue a final rule on small unmanned aircraft systems by its August deadline. “While the report places the spotlight on the FAA’s progress to date, the fact remains that the FAA is facing novel and complex challenges in determining how to integrate [unmanned aircraft systems] into the national airspace,” Ms. Ross said.
