Wiley Rein's Henry Rivera Says Broadband Internet Access Critical for Finding Jobs, Obtaining Health Care
Wiley Rein Communications Practice partner Henry Rivera was interviewed by Caribbean Business where he discussed the vital role of broadband access in the lives of Hispanics as well as the adoption rates for broadband. Mr. Rivera spoke with the publication while attending the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement’s Educational Conference, where he delivered remarks. “Broadband Internet access is vital for finding jobs, getting healthcare and accessing government services, and that is why Hispanics need to get connected wherever they are,” Mr. Rivera—a former Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner—said. “It is important for the Latino community to get hooked up to broadband and to understand how to use it,” he added.
