Wiley Rein's Election Law Partner Caleb Burns Talks Members' Leadership PACs with Roll Call
Caleb Burns, a partner in Wiley Rein’s Election Law & Government Ethics Practice, was quoted in an article focusing on the spate of new members of Congress who have started their own political action committees (PACs). More than 25 percent of House members who are serving their first term have set up their own PACs and overall, 373 congressional members have filed paperwork for leadership PACs. “If the conventional wisdom is that every Member of Congress has a leadership PAC, that’s obviously not true,” Mr. Burns said. “But it sounds like the vast majority of them do.”
