Nova Daly’s Senate Testimony on Export Control Reform Draws Media Coverage
Nova J. Daly, senior public policy advisor in Wiley Rein’s International Trade and Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance practices, was quoted by Inside Cybersecurity in coverage of a U.S. Senate Banking Committee hearing on export control implementation. Mr. Daly testified at the July 18 hearing, focusing in part on cybersecurity and intellectual property issues.
“We should create additional enforcement tools to better address cyber and intellectual property theft. Perhaps an IP ‘Entities List,’ similar to the United States Trade Representative’s Notorious Markets List,” Mr. Daly told the Senate committee, as reported by Inside Cybersecurity. “Further, we should consider taking additional actions in response to cyberattacks using executive powers.”
