PODCAST: Kevin Muhlendorf Discusses Risk of Corruption in 5G Telecom Implementation

TRACE Podcast: Bribe, Swindle or Steal
May 4, 2020

Kevin B. Muhlendorf, partner in Wiley’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations Practice, was featured in a discussion of “Risk, Telecom and 5G” in an April 29 podcast produced by TRACE, a globally recognized anticorruption business association. The podcast series – Bribe, Swindle or Steal – is hosted by TRACE President and Founder Alexandra Wrage.

Mr. Muhlendorf was joined by Alexander Cooley, the Claire Tow Professor of Political Science at Barnard College and Director of Columbia University’s Harriman Institute, for a 30-minute discussion of telecommunications scandals and the risk of corruption in 5G telecommunications implementation. Mr. Muhlendorf co-authored and Professor Cooley authored separate chapters on these two subjects in TRACE’s new book, Corrosive: Corruption and its Consequences.

A news release on Wiley’s chapter, “Risks Under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for 5G Telecom Implementation,” can be found here.
