Experience

Representative Matters

  • Principal advisor to the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy concerning all congressional matters, and overall responsibility of leading, planning, and coordinating a proactive legislative strategy promoting the mission of strengthening and advancing American science and technology.
  • One of the lead negotiators of H.R. 3684, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), historic bipartisan legislation investing in broadband, infrastructure, and U.S. competitiveness.
  • Authored and assisted in the enactment of the Middle-Mile Deployment Act, broadband legislation included in the IIJA, the Drone Infrastructure Inspection Grant Act, the Broadband Parity Act, and the Data Mapping to Save Mom’s Lives Act.
  • Advised White House and congressional staff on legislative and congressional matters.
  • Represented the recording industry before members of Congress, congressional staff, state elected officials, and their staff.
