Experience
Representative Matters
- Advises clients on transactional issues related to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensees, including securing FCC approvals for acquisitions and transfers of control. Researches and prepares FCC comments and pleadings on issues impacting telecommunications clients, including spectrum policy and robocall mitigation matters.
- Advises voice service providers on FCC robocall regulations and proceedings resulting from passage of the TRACED Act.
- Represents clients before the FCC and state attorneys general in enforcement actions and investigations, and counsels clients on compliance with agency policy and rules. Experience with various government investigative stages, including Civil Investigative Demand and Letter of Inquiry responses.
- Counsels clients on compliance with regulatory obligations under federal and state law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Privacy and Safeguards Rules, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and state privacy laws including California’s CCPA/CPRA.
