A Sterling Celebration: Wiley Rein Turns 25

October 22, 2008

Wiley Rein LLP, a homegrown Washington, DC law firm that has earned national and international distinction, will commemorate its 25th Anniversary at a reception celebrating this important milestone and recognizing the attorneys and clients that have contributed so greatly to its success.

Since first opening its doors in 1983 with 39 attorneys, Wiley Rein has provided innovative, attentive, first-rate advocacy grounded in the firm’s unique combination of legal, regulatory and public policy expertise and experience.  On this foundation, the firm has grown over the years into the diverse practice envisioned by its founders, expanding beyond its roots as a prominent communications practice to include notable groups specializing in insurance law, government contracts, international trade, litigation, public policy, intellectual property, bankruptcy, environmental safety, consumer products, corporate, election law, aviation, franchise, health care and privacy.

Now home to more than 275 attorneys counseling leaders in numerous industries nationwide and globally, Wiley Rein has become a Washington institution.  Reflecting on the firm’s achievements, Managing Partner Richard E. Wiley said, “Our accomplishments over the past twenty-five years are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our lawyers and staff.  We are fortunate in the loyalty of our clients and friends, with whose steadfast support we look forward to continued growth and success for many years to come.”
