Wiley Rein's Media Practice and Attorneys Stand Alone As Washington's Best Regulatory Group

June 12, 2009

The 2009 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business recognizes Wiley Rein's Media Practice as the "preeminent Washington, DC outfit," singling out group chair Richard E. Wiley and partner Kathleen Kirby as leading professionals in the field.

Chambers noted that Wiley Rein's Media group-the only one ranked in the Media & Entertainment: Mainly Regulatory field-"has an impressive client roster" and is recognized as "a popular choice with media entities for its regulatory expertise" and for its "straightforward and clear advice and deep pool of talent." Clients praised the group's lawyers' "natural instincts on how to interact with the agencies and Capitol Hill."

Managing Partner and former FCC Chairman Richard E. Wiley is praised for his "knowledge of the regulatory twists and turns that is second to none," and Chambers describes partner Kathleen A. Kirby as a "legislative expert."
