Ambassador David Gross to Moderate Global Forum 2010 Keynote Session
Wiley Rein partner Ambassador David Gross has been selected to co-moderate the opening keynote session of Global Forum 2010, a major international conference focusing on the policy and practical issues surrounding "ICT for an Empowered Society—a Smart and Innovative World."
On Monday November 8, Amb. Gross, co-chair of Wiley Rein's International Telecommunications group, will co-moderate the two-day conference's opening 100-minute panel, "ICT: A Vision for the Next Generation," beginning at 9:15 am in The Marvin Center at The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Scheduled to appear with Amb. Gross at the annual conference that is now in its 19th year are Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski, Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz and U.S. State Department Assistant Secretary for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Jose W. Fernandez. They will be joined by top officials from the European Commission as well as leading telecommunications, information technology and Internet companies to discuss topical economic, political and social policy issues associated with information and communications technologies.
