Wiley Rein's Michael Toner Is One of "50 Politicos to Watch"

Politico has named Wiley Rein Election Law & Government Ethics Practice co-chair Michael Toner one of "50 Politicos to Watch," the "new generation of candidates, bloggers, fundraisers, consultants and media standouts who will be a force to reckon with in the 2012 cycle."  Profiling Mr. Toner, Politico notes that he is a presence in the "high-stakes, hypercompetitive campaign legal game," with clients who include the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's political groups.

Mr. Toner, a former Chairman of the Federal Election Commission, is a seasoned election law expert and political veteran with a wealth of experience advising candidates, political committees, trade associations and corporate clients on federal and state election law compliance. He is a prolific author and has appeared as a guest commentator on Fox News Channel, ABC News, CBS Evening news, Bloomberg News, Fox Business Network, C-SPAN and National Public Radio. Mr. Toner has also is named one of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business" by Chambers USA, which commends him for being "heralded as an authority in campaign finance."
