Wiley Rein’s Bennett Ross to Give Keynote at USTelecom Event

Bennett L. Ross, a partner in Wiley Rein’s preeminent Communications Practice and chair of the firm’s Telephony Practice, will deliver a keynote presentation this week at an event hosted by the United States Telecom Association (USTelecom).

The May 9 event, titled “Voice Interconnection,” also will feature a keynote from Curtis Groves, Verizon’s assistant general counsel for federal and state legal affairs organization.  The event will examine how the Nation’s current regulatory structure works and evaluate how best to approach voice interconnection going forward, given the significant changes in communications networks and the competitive landscape since the 1996 Telecommunications Act was enacted.
