Chambers Global Ranks Wiley Rein’s International Trade and Privacy & Cybersecurity Practices Among Best in the World
Washington, DC — For the seventh consecutive year, Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business has included Wiley Rein’s International Trade and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices in its worldwide rankings.
In addition, several of the firm’s attorneys were again singled out by Chambers Global 2017 as leaders in their fields. Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice chair Kirk J. Nahra, named a Leading Lawyer in Privacy & Data Security, was described as being “great to work with, incredibly knowledgeable and always available.” Mr. Nahra also is cited for his advice on cybersecurity issues and for having a fine litigation track record.
International Trade Practice chair Alan H. Price, selected as a Leading Lawyer in the area of Trade Remedies & Trade Policy, is someone who “gets solid results consistently,” according to market sources. Mr. Price was also noted for advising on regulatory matters as well as disputes.
Partner Timothy C. Brightbill, also named a Leading Lawyer in the same area, garnered praise for his knowledge of “what’s going on in the industry” and for bringing “new and valuable perspectives” to interactions with U.S. regulators on trade issues. He was also cited for his work on trade litigation and policy cases.
In addition, Charles Owen Verrill, Jr., who serves as consulting counsel in the International Trade Practice, was again named a Senior Statesman. He was singled out for his experience in such areas as import trade remedies and export regulation.
The Chambers Global rankings span the legal markets of more than 180 countries and are based on extensive interviews with clients and attorneys.
