Law360 Names Wiley Rein Among 25 Best Law Firms for Women & Minority Attorneys
Washington DC — Wiley Rein LLP was named to Law360’s 2019 list of the 25 “Best Law Firms for Women and Minority Attorneys,” based on a survey of the firm’s female and minority representation at the partner and non-partner levels. Wiley Rein is one of only eight firms in its size category to make the nationwide list this year.
“These 25 firms made Law360’s list by outranking their peers on their representation both of women and attorneys of color,” Law360 said in its report. The firms “have reported above-average representation of both women and minorities at every tier, from non-partners to equity partners, compared with firms of similar size.”
Wiley Rein embraces diversity and inclusion as core values. Along with the firm’s Executive and Management committees, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee continues to enhance the firm’s diversity efforts in recruiting and advancing minority and women attorneys through mentoring, outreach, affinity groups, and a robust firm-wide professional development program.
For its survey methodology, Law360 ranked firms based on eight factors: the percentage of female attorneys; the percentage of female non-partners; the percentage of female partners, both equity and nonequity; the percentage of female equity partners; the percentage of minority attorneys; the percentage of minority non-partners; the percentage of minority partners, both equity and nonequity; and the percentage of minority equity partners.
