Legal 500 US Recognizes 31 Wiley Rein Lawyers Across Seven Practices Nationally

June 15, 2016

Washington, DC—In its 2016 edition, The Legal 500 US ranks 31 Wiley Rein lawyers across seven practices among the best in the country. Four partners were named to the directory’s elite “Leading Lawyers” list, and two of the firm’s core practices were recognized in the prestigious top tier nationwide.

The firm earned a top-tier ranking for its Government Contracts Practice, which the Legal 500 US called an “undisputed leader.” The publication noted that Wiley Rein “covers the gamut of government contracts work, delivers an “outstanding level of service,” and includes numerous lawyers with security clearances who are active in the defense and intelligence sectors. Government Contracts Practice chair Rand L. Allen and partner Paul F. Khoury were once again recognized as “Leading Lawyers.”

Wiley Rein’s Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) Practice also placed in the top tier for regulatory work. The Legal 500 US noted that the “superlative and extremely impressive” team is “head and shoulders above the rest,” and valued by clients for its “unparalleled industry knowledge and on-target advice and counsel.” Additionally, firm Chairman Emeritus Richard E. Wiley and TMT Practice co-chair R. Michael Senkowski were once again singled out as “Leading Lawyers” in Telecoms and Broadcast: Regulatory. Mr. Senkowski is also recommended nationally for Telecoms and Broadcast: Transactional.

The firm’s Appellate, Copyright, Insurance, and International Trade groups once again earned national rankings—as did the TMT Practice for transactional work.
