Wiley Rein Attorneys Present At ADR Speaker Series at Howard University School of Law

Washington, DCKimberly A. Ashmore, Edward R. Brown and Richard A. Simpson, attorneys in Wiley Rein’s prominent Insurance and Litigation practices, were featured speakers in the first session of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Speaker Series at Howard University School of Law (Howard Law) on Wednesday, October 17. The Dispute Resolution Certificate Program and the Howard Law ADR Program collaborated to bring this speaker series to Howard Law. The series features attorneys from various areas of practice who integrate ADR into their respective practices and share their knowledge with Howard Law students. Professor Homer C. La Rue, Co-Director of the ADR Program, moderated a lively discussion.

The Howard Law ADR Program consists of domestic and international dispute resolution courses and programs offered by the Howard University School of Law. It coordinates Howard Law’s commitment to preparing students for lawyering in the 21st century, including offering a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Through the ADR offerings, students receive assistance in understanding, developing, and mastering the principles and skills needed to resolve disputes using non-adjudicative dispute resolution forums and methods.
