Wiley Rein’s International Trade Practice Named Finalist in AMM’s Annual Awards for Steel Excellence

March 31, 2017

Washington, DC — Wiley Rein LLP has been named one of five national finalists for “Legal Services Provider of the Year,” as part of the eighth annual American Metal Market (AMM) Awards for Steel Excellence. This is the first year an award is being given to a legal services provider in more than 15 categories.

“We had a very strong response in both the number of nominations as well as the caliber, indicating the strengthening of our industry’s performance and the creativity needed to support its long-term success,” said AMM chief executive officer Raju Daswani.

The awards recognize companies that have demonstrated best-in-class performance in their respective segments of the steel industry.

The winners will be announced at the annual Steel Awards Dinner on June 27 in New York City. The event is held in conjunction with the Steel Survival Strategies XXXII conference, which is presented by AMM and World Steel Dynamics Inc.

Wiley Rein has one of the nation’s largest and most diverse international trade groups, advocating for U.S. steel companies that find their very existence threatened by foreign governments’ unfair trade practices. This firm’s International Trade Practice provides solutions for its clients through a blend of legal expertise, trade policy, thought leadership, and public relations capabilities. Wiley Rein is one of the leading firms in trade remedy proceedings representing U.S. producers, and is among a limited number of practices that regularly serve as principal counsel for major unfair trade investigations.
