Wiley Rein Names Samantha Lee and Dylan Hix as Leadership Council on Legal Diversity ‘Pathfinders’
Washington, DC — Wiley Rein LLP has chosen Dylan Hix, an associate in the firm’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations, Intellectual Property, and Litigation practices, and Samantha Lee, an associate in the Government Contracts Practice, to be members of the 2016 class of Pathfinders. This is a new program designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including programming on leadership and network development.
“Wiley Rein is honored to have Dylan and Samantha participate in LCLD’s innovative new Pathfinder Program,” said Managing Partner Peter D. Shields. “The selection of these two outstanding lawyers is a reflection of their exceptional leadership skills and we look forward to their future contributions to Wiley Rein and the legal profession.”
The LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants “intensive in-person training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows in small group gatherings,” according to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr. “We believe it’s a program that can help catapult a person’s career forward,” he said.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 240 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinder Program was piloted last year among a select number of LCLD member law firms and corporations. It is an initiative that has filled a gap in LCLD programming, targeting junior associates and the youngest members of corporate law departments. For information, click here.
