Rand Allen Honored by Professional Services Council with Leadership Award

January 6, 2017

Washington, DC—Wiley Rein Government Contracts Practice partner Rand L. Allen was honored by the Professional Services Council (PSC) during its Annual Membership Meeting in mid-December. Mr. Allen is one of three distinguished member company executives who were each recognized with a PSC Leadership Award for their engagement and contributions to the association.

The award was presented by John Goodman, chief operating officer of Accenture Federal Services and chair of PSC’s Executive Committee. “Rand, and his firm Wiley Rein, have served as PSC’s outside general counsel for years,” Mr. Goodman said. “In addition to being a recognized expert government contracts lawyer, Rand has provided invaluable advice to the PSC staff, to the Board and to the chairs of the Board of Directors. He has been involved in all of the business acquisitions that PSC has made, provided support for PSC’s office leases and internal business policies, and guided us through several personnel actions.”

Mr. Goodman added that “more recently, Rand and his firm have been deeply engaged in the work of each of [PSC’s] five councils. He and his firm have assisted PSC in the development of several comments on regulations and partnered with PSC on several important policy programs.”

“For his long-time engagement with and support to PSC, we are honored to recognize Rand Allen,” Mr. Goodman said.
