Wiley Serves as Counsel of Record on Amicus Brief for Public-Interest Organizations in United States v. Ross

Wiley Rein LLP filed an amicus brief along with The Rutherford Institute and The Buckeye Institute in United States v. Ross, a Second Circuit case involving attorneys’ fees owed by the government in civil asset forfeiture proceedings.

The Rutherford Institute is a public-interest civil-liberties organization based in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Buckeye Institute is a public-interest law firm based in Columbus, Ohio.

Joel S. Nolette, an associate in Wiley’s Litigation Practice, is the counsel of record on this brief. Joining Wiley as counsel on the brief are David C. Tryon and Alex M. Certo of The Buckeye Institute. John W. Whitehead and William E. Winters of The Rutherford Institute also assisted with the brief.
