Wiley Welcomes Kirsten Hines, Building on Health Care Team’s PBM Capabilities

Wiley is pleased to welcome Kirsten C. Hines, who has joined the firm as senior counsel in the Health Care Practice. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Hines has provided strategic counsel and innovative solutions to some of the country’s most prominent pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies.

“We are delighted to welcome Kirsten to Wiley,” said Dorthula H. Powell-Woodson, chair of the Health Care Practice. “Her understanding of the multidimensional complexities of the PBM industry will be invaluable to Wiley’s diverse client base.”

At Wiley, Hines brings extensive PBM transactional and compliance experience to provide innovative legal solutions and strategic oversight, negotiate intricate PBM agreements, and assist a wide range of clients in achieving their business goals.

Wiley’s Health Care Practice counsels a diverse array of for-profit and not-for-profit health care entities concerning government programs and commercial offerings, statutory and regulatory requirements, emerging health care issues and programs, and compliance matters. For more than 20 years, the team has had a special focus on representing health plans and employers in their procurement of and contracting with PBMs for Mail, Retail and Specialty drug services.
