Victoria is a seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience in trial advocacy and public interest law. She represents clients before state, federal, and appellate courts in high-stakes disputes involving numerous areas of law including insurance, real estate, communications, and intellectual property.

Victoria also helps manage the firm’s pro bono program, leveraging her close ties with legal services organizations and her years of experience providing pro bono attorney training and development. Prior to joining Wiley, Victoria served as Managing Attorney at the nonprofit DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, where she supervised attorneys representing hundreds of pro bono clients in family law and civil protection order matters, expanded the number of clinics providing free legal services, and led the Racial Justice Task Force. Victoria also was a Pro Bono Fellow at the Children’s Law Center and served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Child Protection Section at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.

Victoria also previously served as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager at Wiley, implementing strategic initiatives to facilitate an inclusive work environment, strengthen the pipeline of attorneys from historically underrepresented communities, and collaboratively promote DEI within the legal industry. In July 2022, Victoria obtained a Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University.

Representative Matters

  • Represented TV program owners in multimillion-dollar copyright royalty disputes before the Copyright Royalty Board of the Library of Congress and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit
  • Represented large companies in Section 337patent infringement investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
  • Litigated multimillion-dollar insurance D&O coverage claims, and represented policyholders impacted by natural disasters and losses.
  • Represented company in jury trial involving real estate dispute before the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County and related appeal in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
  • Represented numerous pro bono clients, including children, parents, and third-party caregivers in family law and domestic violence matters in D.C. Superior Court.
  • Supervised attorneys in hundreds of pro bono family law matters.
  • Represented Child and Family Services Agency in prosecuting child abuse and neglect proceedings in D.C. Superior Court.
